Horrid Three Horned Face

A fully grown and mature male Triceratops horridus searches for some grubs and worms in a rotted log. Triceratops is the largest and perhaps the last of the Ceratopsians. It is famous for it's 2 long brow horns and small nasal horn and it's frill mainly used for display and shielding the neck. It had huge nostrils and possibly had a nose pouchy thing that can be inflated only for display. Triceratops may have had quills similar to it's earlier descendant Psittacosaurus. Triceratops was believed to be a juvenile of Torosaurus but it may not be true since Triceratops was bigger. Triceratops is a herbivore but it may have eaten some meat. Triceratops resemble both a Cow and a Rhinoceros since they may have the same lifestyle of these two. It's main nemesis was the famous Tyrannosaurus rex.
